From Personal Experience to Public Advocacy
My experience with mania led me through America's mental healthcare system—a system I discovered was deeply flawed, not just in treatment, but in its most basic operations: honesty and transparency.
When I requested my medical records years after hospitalization, I uncovered systematic billing discrepancies that revealed a larger pattern of potential fraud. What began as a personal story became a civil rights case.
This isn't just about one patient or one hospital. It's about a system that prioritizes profit over patients, where billing codes matter more than accurate diagnoses, and where the vulnerable are exploited at their most difficult moments.
That's why I'm running for President. Not in spite of my mental health journey—but because of it. Because I've seen the system from the inside, and I know it needs to change.
